Are these pre-recorded lessons?
No. My German courses for doctors, nurses, and for FSP are not pre-recorded courses. They are live 1:1 lessons with a teacher who regularly teaches on Zoom or Meet and will correct you in real-time. If you're unable to attend a lesson, email me at info@dorisfiumanorevolingo.com, and we will record it and send it to you by email.
How can I make up for the lessons I missed?
-
If you are unable to attend one of the German lessons for doctors and nurses, don't worry! Just let me know at least one day in advance by emailing info@dorisfiumanorevolingo.com, and I will record the Zoom lesson and send it to you via email.

Who are the lessons aimed at?
German courses for doctors and nurses are aimed at doctors, nurses, medical and nursing students who want to learn how to communicate with patients and colleagues in the hospital.
The German courses for FSP are aimed at doctors and medical students who want to move to Germany and Austria and must pass the medical language exam at the medical chamber, a fundamental step to obtain the Approbation.
Please note ⟶ If you want to work in Switzerland, it is not necessary to pass the FSP exam today, but some clinics and hospitals require a B2 level of German. I therefore recommend that you consider one of my German courses for doctors and nurses.
What prerequisites do I need?
The German courses for doctors and nurses are aimed at doctors, nurses, medical and nursing students who already have a B1.1 level of German (completed or even halfway), or B1.2, B2.1, B2.2, C1.1 . We will learn to communicate with colleagues and patients and review the most important grammatical structures for each context. It is not necessary to have a language certificate but it is highly recommended to have at least a B1.1 level (intermediate) of German.
The German courses for FSP are aimed at doctors and medical students who already have a minimum B2 level of German. Again, it is not necessary to have a language certificate, but it is highly recommended to have at least a B2.2 level of German.
I don't have to take a Telc Pflege or Telc Medizin exam: are the German courses for doctors and nurses the same for me?
-
Absolutely. My German courses for doctors and nurses are designed to help you pass the Telc Pflege and Telc Medizin exams, but they are also great for anyone who wants to learn how to communicate with patients and colleagues in the hospital, and how to write Arztbriefe and Pflegeberichte!
Is the material included in the price?
The book we will use in the German course for doctors and nurses is not included in the price and must be purchased before the course begins. You will receive the purchase link by email. However, at the end of each lesson you will have access to the notes and free exercises to memorize what you learned in class!
For the FSP you will have access for a whole year to the handouts with theory, correct simulations of clinical cases and advice for passing the FSP for each region. In addition, you will have access forever to a summary handout of 40 pages.
Do I need to take the Fachspracheprüfung if I'm not a European citizen?
-
Yes, if you are not a European citizen you will generally have to take the Fachsprachprüfung (FSP). You will also have to pass the Kenntnisprüfung (knowledge test) to have your qualifications recognised. Revolingo does not offer courses for the KP.
